Time 4 an update ya'll.... I've been out and away for a while. But now I am back and here 2 stay (once again). Already planning to leave this country again. Learning about me, who I am and life every single day.Being single is growing on me again. And in no need of a man... Not for a while anyway. Me and my girls are mad important and so is my fam. I love hanging out with my ladies and going out to dance, dance, dance.
Picked up my singing again and who knows, I might drop some shit this year... (but being scared and shitty as I am, it might never drop it, hahaha).I love 2 read (from the Bible to Isabelle Allende to Tolstoy and Paulo Coelho) and making things.. From making food to clothes, I love it all. Nice way to escape and create. Yeah!!Amsterdam is a great city but you can put me just anywhere and I will survive. Cuz I love meeting new people, having converstations about life and stupid things, learning new languages (Turkish is my latest one, now working on my Italian again), travelling, and exploring other cultures..Yeah.. that's me...I have lived in Turkey for over 5 months.. ISTANBUL RULES YO!! and I was a dancer in Marmaris (barstreet).
Before that my girl Yvonne and I have been to the land of the Farao's. Egypt is a truelly impressive experience. The piramid's, the diving, the deserttrips. It makes you humble again and realizing we are living in borrowed time. Gaia was here before us and we should treat our mother earth with more dignity and respect. What ever we take we should give back in it's purest form when ever possible.My trip to the Gambia was a true eye-opener for me and has radically changed my view on the African-American History. This part of history has been thaught to me in school by the people who want to forget 'that black page in history' and you always need to hear 2 sides of the story. Going to Africa set me free in a way and I will definitely go back one day. Alone or with my husband and kids, or my mom.
