About Me

polka layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com
HotFreeLayoutsAbout me? Well I'm currently living in my home village of Kirby Muxloe in Leicester in the middle of no where; seriously, I have sheep and cows for neighbours. In fact the sheep often pop round for a visit in the back garden. Poor things get confused.I've been with my gorgeous boyfriend Dan for almost 7 years now after meeting in our first year at university. He's a gem and I love him to bits. He's currently living in Dublin so I get to go over there once or twice each month which is fab. Clocking up some good air miles but not sure Ryanair have a loyalty scheme! Fingers crossed he'll be coming home at some point next year which may mean moving down to Essex.I LOVE spending time with my girl friends - in fact you'll be likely to see us in Starbucks most weeks having a good old girly gossip and supping on a frapaccino. The Terriss used to be our usual place to go but we're getting on a bit now, haha.Unusual things about me? Well I'm a recently converted vegetarian (Damn Gordon Ramsey - see my blog) and have a rubbish nut allergy which means I'm highly prone to blow up like the Marshmellow Man at any time. Quite a good party trick really if only it wouldnt kill me off!table height="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0"

My Interests

Running (although not too far!), Yoga, Reading (with a Starbucks at Borders), Wine!

I'd like to meet:

Take That of course! Yes, my teenage crush is still with me! Would also really love to meet my Dads dad. I hear he would have been an awesome Grandad

Music:

Loving James Morrison at the moment. Paolo Nutini, Jamiroquai, Athlete, Simon Webb, Lemar, Usher.....and Take That, yey they're back. Love winding on the dance floor to Little L and Kevin Little (so wrong!). Big fan of some older classics such as Marvin Gaye and Al Green. First song I remember dancing to as a kid is Phil Collins version of You Cant Hurry Love - must have been my Mums influence.

Movies:

Mainly chick flics, you can never watch Love Actually and Bridgette Jones too many times. Hate anything scary (Halloween H20 had me in tears...wus) but I do like a good psychological thriller like Hannibal or Seven

Television:

Not quite as much as a telly addict as my boy but I'm a bit of a Hollyoaks fan, any soap actually but not too fussed about Corrie. Loved Footballers Wives (RIP),Hotel Babylon, Spooks and 24. Long live Jack Bauer

Books:

Best book I have ever read is the Celestine Prophecy. Loved the Di Vinci Code and Angels and Demons (spent a trip to Rome with Dan loking at all of Berninis works. Like anything by Cecilia Ahern or Marianne Keys for a good girly read

Heroes:

Amanda Ursell, fountain of knowledge for health and nutrition); Lance Armstrong, for his resilliance and determination; Simon Cowell (!) harsh but I love it; Jamie Oliver, love his food but love the fact that he's trying to make a difference

My Blog

Yipppeeeeeee my name in lights

Well OK not quite but I did have an article printed in The Times on Thursday.  Cant be bad.  It did however make me sound like a right party pooper giving an "expert" opinion on the pitfalls...

Meat sucks!

Damn Gordon Ramsey!  That bloomin F Word Programme has well and truely put me off meat all together.  And for a devout no carb dieter that saying something!  But killing off poor Trinny...
