Well I am now the Chief of the Austin Police Department. I have been here for a little over a year now.
I'm was employeed by the Jacksonville, AR Police Dept. I was promoted to Sergeant Nov. 14th 2008. I worked as the Midnight shift patrol Sergeant. I worked at Jacksonville PD for about 7 years, I worked 2 years at Ausitn PD prior and before that, I worked for 4 years in private security management. I graduated the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy class 2003B 1st Academically. I have taken many Law Enforcement Supervision training classes through the Criminal Justice Institute along with over 1400 certified Law Enforcement training hours through the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training! I am currently attending Arkansas State University Beebe working towards my Associates degree in Criminal Justice which should be complete by December of 2008. I have worked as a School Resource /D.A.R.E. Officer, Crisis Negotiator, Field Training Officer, member of the Arkansas Police Benevolent Association, Fraternal Order of Police, Arkansas DARE Officers Association, Missouri DARE Officers Association,National Association of School Resource Officers, Arkansas Crisis Negotiators Association, and the United States Municipal Police Association.
