PHINAL PHASEThere have been many people such as: Babyface, Prince, Michael Jackson, James Taylor, Brian McKnight, Tupac, Sting, New Edition, Boyz II Men, Musiq, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre and many more too numerous to mention who have influenced us on our musical journey and it is evident that they all have one thing in common and that is the Groove."Groove". We truly believe that the music should always have a groove where even the odd, and seemingly out of place elements enhance that Groove. Interestingly enough, Groove is this group, we are Groove Representatives where even the odd, and seemingly out of place elements, enhance the Groove. There are elements of this union that seem a little out of place, but when you look and listen again......you feel/see the Groove, it's unmistakable. It doesn't matter who's on the leads or who drives the backgrounds....the elements of this group make up our Groove Ingredients. This, in turn generates our personality. A personality that is reflective of a general mood. This is a personality that promotes a certain type of excitement and electricity.
Phinal Phase is a representative of a dying to dang-near-dead breed. From our sound and vocal performances to our lyrical content and IMAGE, we are "The Truth", in every since of the word. We are, and will be, one of the few groups to come along and captivate many; without forfeiting ourselves as people. We are everyone's group, not because we try to be, but because we have no other natural choice. No one in this group is one dimensional. Thus, the music isn't one dimensional.
Many other projects and business ventures will eventually spawn from the Phinal Phase think tank. Movie roles, specials and series', massive (true) charity and community re-investment/ development projects...etc.The only thing that can stop Phinal Phase from doing the things that we know we can do is Phinal Phase. We will stay true to the music, and ourselves and at the end of the day we can rest peacefully on "The Truth". We are the Phinal Phase of a long list of pioneers; laying the foundation of musical/ artistic truth. We will honor and rep those who have come before us and those who are currently sharing todays musical journey along with us, by STAYING TRUE.
