A Little About Me:
I am 31 years old from Central Illinois. I have been married for 10 years (ouch – I’m old!) to my husband Jason. We have one son, Korey, whom I worship the ground he walks on. We live in Pekin, Illinois which is very close to where I grew up in Delavan. One day, I might venture far away to the big city – but, for right now the corn patch is where it’s at for me! I am an Occupational Therapy Assistant working for a company called RehabCare Group, which is based out of St. Louis. I also am working as a Program Director of Therapy Services for the company in a local nursing home. I have worked in nursing homes for the majority of my career life and really enjoy the population. I am also currently going back to school to become an Occupational Therapist. I attend school online and then once a month load up with a crew of classmates and head to Milwaulkee to Concordia University – Look for us on the road – I think they are sending us a short bus pretty soon to take up there (what can I say, we’re special!) It’s a stressful time in my life, but I think it will be worth it in the end (that is if I even graduate!). I really don’t have a lot of free time anymore, but when I have it I like to hang out with a 2 ½ year old watching Turtles or Spidey Guy. Otherwise, going out with friends and laughing my big ass off is also fun! We currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat and an aquarium of fish that never seem to stay alive.
