Ransomed - the band, the myth, the legend - was formed many years ago out of sheer necessity. They wrote & recorded their first & only album during a two week period in July of 2000. Due to the fervent demand brought upon themselves by their cutting edge music, they were persuaded to tour the world. They were even given the opportunity to grace stages all over Jefferson County, Alabama. Stops on the "Ransomed Rocks Your Face Off - Summer of 2K World Tour" included Tver Russia, Tampa Florida, and Edgewater Alabama (as well as countless other exotic locales which can't be listed due time restraints). Shortly after the World Tour, Ransomed, at the height of their popularity, decided to call it quits. Each member went their separate ways - on to bigger and better things.
