About Me

It's 2:00 in the afternoon. The suns beating down, the heat's sizzling off the ground. You can feel the rays seeping into your skin and if you don't move, it seems to freeze you there on the spot. You tighten everything up, from your boots to your gloves, the straps on your jacket, the clip under your chin. The vents are open, the visors cleaned, the tanks full. the road never ends; it seems to just drive directly into the side of the mountain itself. It's as simple as a handful of left, and a click on the right. The needle slowly creeps upward but it's too small to notice, and too significant to dismiss. The dial in front of you just bounces, rev by rev and turn by turn. You start swerving, weaving, side to side and lane to lane. Its between early and late so either way you're on your own. Its almost a fight between lovers, where the game of cat and mouse, the slow pushing of the envelope, the comfort and the level of feeling slowly reach never seen heights. Then, once "the stick" is there, once it feels like you have 150mm worth of extra strength chewing gum rolling underneath you, you begin. Slip the visor 'till it clicks, tap that left down a notch and pop that same hand again. You start to gain speed, and the beast that you're trying to control is trying harder and harder to get away, and you're just holding on tighter and tighter. Some people might say it couldn't sound any more dangerous.I think I couldn't sound anymore right.Interested? Go for it...
