Bob Dylan, Pantera, Slayer, Jewel, Megadeth, Metallica (pre-black album), Billy Joel, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Grateful Dead, Linkin Park, John Hiatt, Depeche Mode, Disturbed, some Prince, Black Sabbath/Ozzy. I avoid rap, but some is ok.

Movies:

Lord of the Rings, Star Wars.

Television:

None if I can help it.

Books:

Stephen King, Clive Cussler, Anne Rice, Greg Bear, Piers Anthony, John Grisholm, Night Gallery collections, Star Trek books (especially those written by Diane Duane). I'll read just about anything, though.
