Ever since my early teens, music has been one of the most important things in my life. Whether it were 'electro pop' from the 80's, 'Rock n Indie' since the 60's or my dedicated fascination for the Beatles; it has always been paramount.
At only 14, I worked for the local radio station 'Ten 17', helping with the chart show and taking a mid-week show for one week. At about the same time, my passion for Dance music began to take shape. Trips to the White Isle soon influenced a lot of my thinking and direction. By 15, Radio 1 took hold of my life and I could tell anyone the scheduling 24 hours a day, any day of the week. Further on, listening to Radio 1 excessively, Pete Tong became the biggest influence on my interests. From the Essential Selection to the Essential Mix, shows which would become the DJ's bible for me always.
I've been DJ'ing since the age of 15, I'm currently DJ'ing for the Leeds student Union, however organizing my own night in the city is a not too distant certainty. During 2005, I worked for the Progressive House label 'Silver Planet', before returning to University to study Physics-Philosophy. Production is another area I'm getting more and more into and will be displaying more here soon. I've just returned from a month in Ibiza promoting & DJ'ing, including a set at the Savanah funky lounge.
Just a little update; I'm now working for the label 2020Vision. One of the top 5 independent House labels in Europe.
