Athelia's is a band from Cheras,Kuala Lumpur. Started in 1999, when Hafiz (Lead Vocal) and Izzammil (Guitar) are think serious about make a band. Then they inviting Fazlein (Drums) to join the band. At the first,they're just go to jamming,for fun,and it comes serious when they want to make a demo. They filled-up the band with inviting Arief (Bassist) to join the band. After that,they make a demo,first demo called 'Never Say Goodbye'.
Athelia's main concept is modern rock/experimental,also influenced by jazz,reggae and pop rock. Song writings are mostly written by Hafiz (Lead Vocal) and Izzammil (Guitar). Arief (Bass) and Fazlein (Drums) does most of the music arrangements while lyrics are written by all members of the band. The band concentrates more to views of life, friendship and self-motivation based lyrics inspired by a blend of melancholic, fast, and emotional and including encouraging tunes. Athelia's now is running a time to make a second demo called 'Don't Know Why'. There are another few completed songs not yet recorded. Athelia's hopes to contribute a new style of music to the national music industry also being able to give the local listeners a different view of the local music being delivered to them today. Hopefully Athelia's will go further and give the best music that people's want to hear.
