About Me

Myspace Layouts by MySugarSpace.com href="http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3LmJhYnktZ2FnYS 5jb20v"We recently moved to the greater Atlanta area from Texas. My hubby, David got a job offer here, so off we went! We just had our first child, Samuel David Slaughter on April 17, 2007. We couldn't be happier parents! Having a child has been the most exciting thing that has happened to the both of us! Before we moved, I was teaching Kindergarten in Texas, but now because of the baby, I plan on staying home for a while. I sure do miss my kiddos at school, though! When we aren't busy playing and cuddling with our baby boy, we are playing with our 3 dogs, (Bella, Gracie, and Kylie). Life couldn't be better!!

You Are Dr. Pepper
You're very unique and funky, yet you still have a bit of traditionalism to you.
People who like you think they have great taste... and they usually do.

Stay away from: 7 Up What Kind of Soda Are You?

Music:

There are also so many differnt types of music that I like...rock, R&B, pop, 80's - 90's classics. It would be impossibe to name all of the artists that I like! Television:

Thank God for Tivo!!! I don't know how else I could watch my shows faithfully! Lost, Heroes, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Dirty Sexy Money, House, So You Think You Can Dance, many lovely reality shows, and the Discovery Channels.

Books:

Well, my favorite book of all time is, of course the Bible. Where would I be without it?! Unfortunately, I do not read as much as I would like. I try to catch up over the summers, though. I do, on the other hand read TONZ of children's books, and let me tell you, there are some great ones out there! :-) But, as far as real books that I have read...some of my favs are: Ender's Game (Orson Scott Card), Savage Inequalities (Jonathan Kozol), Hang In There: Your today is not your forever (my grandma!!! Frances Moore), Harry Potter Books - Yes, I know, but I just love them! (J.K. Rowling), Mere Christianity (C.S. Lewis), Da Vinci Code (Dan Brown), and Tell No One (Harlan Coben).
