Our Demo CD
We are proud to say that our Keiko Avi Demo Cd has now been finalised
and that we have created the first one hundred copys! So if you want a
copy, they will be on sale at Gigs, you can just ask for one if you know
us, or just email us with your address and we will personally mail you one!
Our Cds are completely self produced and self recorded, we have used
only our own equipment and only original material so this is as Keiko Avi
as it gets.
Furthermore, just to make each one of you feel as special as possible,
we have hand made each CD pouch with different original album-art on
every single Cd down to the very fuce'in last one. No two Cd's will ever
be the same..ever. So when you receive your Keiko Avi Demo Cd you
can rest assured that no one else in the world has anything like it.
Of course, because we have such a good time hand drawing each Cd
the track listings on the back can get a bit muddled up because we think
we're so god-fuce'in-darn funny, and some song names may have been
altered or their order on the Cd may be slightly different or harder to
decypher than when you lsiten to it. So to simplify things, here is the
original song order of the CD. That way when you here a track you love
you can be sure you know what song you're talking about! :-

7. There's no seventh song but after the end of song 6 there are some
sounds which are not part of that song, I won't spoil the surprise, but
song 6 is roughly 8 minutes as oppose to the 16 minutes which is the
duration of the whole track.

Keiko Avi
Things turn a bit heavier with tonight’s next offering, Keiko Avi.
These guys don't have such a distinct genre:
they are screamo without the screaming; Maths
metal without the metal; punk without the monotonous
palm muted verses: they even threw in some dance without
the synths. This may make Keiko Avi sound like a band who are
confused about how they should sound, but that’s the point of
Keiko Avi, they are on stage to confuse and enlighten you.
The bassist hosts some awesome, Ibiza- grown, cowboy boots
and the guitarist
sports a faux fur jacket… what?! These guys are trying to mess
with your minds, and it works for them for one reason: the music
carries the look. The tunes are diverse and although influence
is presentheard, real originality can be heard in these songs. The
band is well received by the crowd and deservedly. You WILL
be hearing about these guys again soon.
On a night where most bands play it safe by playing covers,
Keiko Avi play Keiko Avi only. What may not be the most crowd
pleasing choice is also the boldest choice and one that all young
bands should try to aspire to if they want to get noticed. By playing
only Keiko Avi music the band gives you a taste of what they could
become in the future, and the future looks good.
