Reading - everything from Reader's Digest to Philip Margolin to Thoreau to the Bible. Music - everything except rap and heavy metal. My work at my coffee house because I get to meet so many incredibly interesting and fun people. Playing tennis, when I can. Playing board games with my kids.
Amelia Earhardt so I can ask her "What really happened?"
I work best with Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff and Handel playing in the background. I fall asleep best with jazz or slow, soft piano playing nearby. Debussy and just about any music on a guitar will evoke my passions. Reba is great. "One Promise Too Late" and "Sisters" especially. Roxie Dean...great new artist I can't hear enough - go Roxie girl! I love to sing, anything, anywhere, anytime.
"Man From Snowy River" "Remember the Titans" "West Side Story" "Notting Hill" "Finding Nemo"
Hallmark, Lifetime, TVLand (shows my age). LOVE LOVE I LOVE LUCY! A good Hallmark movie or oldie t.v. show is my idea of a great evening with t.v.
"Ethan Frome" Any Julia Quinn novel - sizzle! "Rifles for Watie" "The Mitford Series"
My mother, who is strong and smart and funny and beautiful. All those who survive personal loss and trauma and come out better, stronger and still able to love.
