About Me

Stereovolt's beginnings date back to the summer of 2002 when bassist JJ Plasencio and vocalist/guitarist Chris Beall began to assemble a new musical propulsion system. This was not to be just any traditional musical propulsion system, for this system should be capable of delivering the user instantaneously to his/her musical destination without a hint of having to actually complete the journey. This system was also to be environmentally friendly---the user merely fuels one end of the machine with original music and the other end of the machine makes..... "it".

This proved to be quite the undertaking. After all, developing a machine that could bypass all of the unwanted hardships of the music business (while still being fully capable of making "it") takes time. And countless hours were spent wishing....yet they never seemed to go anywhere.

Nevertheless, they managed to make progress . By the summer of 2004, guitarist Jeff Moore had become involved in the project and several leaps and bounds were taken toward the band that you see today. It was shortly after this that Bryan Austin completed the band with his consistent drumsticks of forza. It was at that point when we noticed the machine starting to make 'something not completely unlike'....."it".

We do realize that the perception of time within the Stereovolt machine greatly differs from the perception of time when viewed from the outside---much like viewing something travelling at the speed of light. It seems an odd coincidence that the music business and the speed of light share so many properties. Logic would assume that the music business would have much more in common with the speed of sound, but logic must break down on this level.

In recent months, a startling new discovery has been made: The machine must be fueled not only with original music, but also with original music listeners. The perfect blend of both. And so---

It is imperative that shows must be played.
It is imperative that CD's must be sold.
It is imperative that T-shirts must be worn.

See ya this summer.
