Helter Skelter

About Me

Helter Skelter have been together since 2000 but all have been involved with music for a number of years, based in the leafy suburbs of Surrey, England. Life long friends, Simon and Butson brothers, Warren and Matt, all performed together in a band in their early childhood before pursuing different musical avenues in their teens though Simon and Warren appeared in various bands together over the ensuing years. Some years later - with Tim and Andy - they re-formed to emerge - initially the Chad Mantras - and then a little later as Helter Skelter. The band's sound is a blend of classic power pop complemented by rich harmonies - very much today's music but with a 'retro' feel. Helter Skelter certainly prove the point that bands of a certain 'vintage' can still create music that is vibrant, fresh and exciting and of appeal to today's record buying (and mp3 downloading) public.
