Let's see...I am a mother to three (20 yr old daughter, 15 yr old son & 11 yr old daughter) I also have been blessed with 2 step children (19 yr old daughter & 17 yr old son) My husband and I are kept very busy with all 5. I work hard and I love my job, even though it is stressful. I attempt to be all things to everyone, and sometimes I am successful to being something to somebody. I am an overacheiving perfectionist, which can be quite annoying when I expect the same of others:) I love my family and I love God. God has seen me through many bad choices, but has never turned his back on me. Life is balanced and happy now and I am so thankful for where God has led me. My husband & I were married in Jamaica...and wow what a wonderful experience. I appreciate friends and family they are a blessing to me.

Add to My Profile | More VideosI guess that I would have to say that my first hero was my grandmothers on both sides of the family and my dad. My dad's mother died when I was two. My dad lost the "hero" factor when I was 8. But, My mother's mom was my steadfast hero through out my life. She was a strong and independant woman who was ahead of her time in the independance of women. She didn't rely on a man, but she did love a man. She was faithful to her family and was very wise. She had a quick wit and charm. I have heard her referred to as an addictive personality. She was beautiful yet not vain. Watching her live her life inspired me to be the person that I am now. I don't know that I could ever live up to her, but she gives me a good path to strive towards. Before her death, she started to lose the dry wit that I always loved about her. It was heartbreaking to see her so frail. But even in her illness that was daily pain for the better part of a year, you would only know her for her great strength. Grandma Tomey...you are my hero
