I am now 42 years old...Yikes! Ouch! I can hardly believe it myself. I don't really feel it...well, sometimes...but I try hard not to act too old and decrepit! I am Extraordinarily, passionately partnered to Tom, who has shared my life for over 12 years. We met in December 1996, started living together within 3 months, and have never looked back. 5 years later, we had a commitment ceremony, and we will celebrate a dozen years together on December 11th. We have a great life together.For the past 11 years, I have worked at Eastern Monroe Public Library in Stroudsburg, PA. I am a Library Assistant, which means I have many jobs. My very favorite responsibility is the library's BOOKHOUSE cultural program. A great deal of work goes into it, and I am proud to say it's become a very successful and popular monthly entertainment series with considerable name recognition.Tom and I share our lives with our "boys"--our dog Scully, our cats Stevie and Chubbsy, and the latest addition to the brood--Mulder, a hyper-active basset hound with bladder control issues who came into our household on January 23rd, 2008!As an actor, I have performed onstage in close to 40 plays, ranging from NINE Neil Simon plays to works by Tennessee Williams, Shakespeare, Eugene O'Neill, and some by more contemporary writers, too. For several years, I was on the board of directors of Center Stage Players, Inc., a non-profit community theatre organization founded in 1990, and have performed in many CSP productions. I am blessed to be able to say I have done a great deal of work onstage that I am immensely proud of.Directed and performed in Terrence McNally's LIPS TOGETHER, TEETH APART in 2008, and in early 2009 directing Marsha Norman's Pulitzer Play 'NIGHT, MOTHER and performing in PIECES OF EVELYN by Betsy Jackson, both at Shawnee Playhouse.
