R-Kade

R-Kade is one of Montreal hip-hop pioneers whose love for hip-hop and devotion has help pave the way for many acts in the 514 area. Known for his political awareness and social commentary within his rhymes, Kade is also one of the first emcee in Montral to showcase freestyle as an art form. R-Kade has been billed with several major hip-hop acts including The Roots, Genius/GZA, Redman, Too Short, Jeru Tha Damaga, Ice T, Naughty By Nature, Onyx, Das Efx, Biz Markie, The Pharcyde, and Keith Murray. Uncle Kade loves his role as an elder statesman in the Montreal hip-hop community and showing support to all those currently holding the torch.
