Donney B. Wright Jr. was born on June 25, 1985 in Milwaukee, WI. Early on in life, Donney developed his passion and love for music from both his mother and father. With a combination of his mother's love for poetry and his father DJ and radio talk experince flourished a great ensemble of Donney's gifts and talents. At the age of 7, he begin to express his gifts and talents which caught the eyes of those around him. In 1992, in the Milwaukee Westlawn area, he began writing his first rap on his living room floor entitled "Stay in School", which led to his very first interview at 860 WNOV radio station with talk show hosts Teyju and Michael Magee. In the year of 1999, Don Prophet answered the call upon his life and followed GOd. He started reading God's word, going to bible study, attending leadership meetings and by the age of 15, he brought forth his first message. He has a compassionate heart when it comes to reaching out to young people. When Don Prophet isn't rapping, as an artist under "CI-Flow Records" with label mates Under5ive and Apocalypze, he loves playing basketball, coaching, and mentoring youth. Don Prophet says "I am excited about the many different ways that God is moving in my life. I strongly believe that since Jesus left us the keys.....GREATER WORKS SHALL WE DO!!!"
