About Me

*/All started in 1990, with the explosion of the rave scene. Origionally residing in Northampton, the whole Eclipse, Amnesia, ESP scene blew me away. Being close to the Eclipse and Milwaukees - and later the Sanctuary, made regular raving (and listening) to the now infamous dj's of the time easy. DJ'in and vinyl collecting was the next step, and this continued until around 2000. Long before then, around 95, I started getting into the whole production side of the music, firstly on the mighy Amiga with a sample card. Bought a sound module and some keys and started to knock out some beats. Never looked back from those days and although the music has gone in so many different directions, it's the hardcore/jungle drum and bass thats carried forward the old skool vibes from the ealry days - and still retains it heavily today. Now working with PC/software almost totally If you want any 320's of any tunes, hit me up on aIm Ossuss2k4

Influences: The early Reinforced sound, totally stood out to me through all of the hip hop at the time. Still amazed at some of the drum editz today, and the natural progression of the tunes. The next thing that stands out as an 'influence', is the Good Looking sound. The clarity and quality of sound at the time was inspiring, but coupled with the vibes in the tunes it totally blew me away. More than 10 years later, the sound from those old records still shines. Goldie's albums will always stand out from the crowd. Timeless is just a masterpiece that will never be followed. For me the most influential tracks today still remind me of the same vibe that tracks in the early 90's did, sometimes stripped back, sometimes full to the brim, but ALWAYS with vibe and feeling. Hence why these days Calibre is the pinnacle artist for me.
