PJ Flowers

About Me

***VOCALS*** Upon returning to the Houston scene in the past few years, P.J. jointly formed PJ Flowers and snagged yet another nomination for the 2008 HPMA's! P.J. and her bands have opened for rock vets such as, Cheap Trick, Joan Jett, Blackfoot, Warrant, Pat Travers, and Pat Benatar, as well as stars on the rise, Blue October, Eric Sardinas, Carolyn Wonderland, Outformation, Penny Royal and more. ***GUITAR*** Harry O. started out rocking the scene in his early teens. He has produced and played on numerous local and national artists' recordings. Starting with hard rockers, Samurai and gaining regional fame with The Zealots, Tomorrow, and Facedown, Harry is an icon on the Houston rock scene. Harry has jammed with legends such as Lightnin Hopkins, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny Winter and Eric Johnson. He paired with P.J. in late 2005 and continues to wow fans and inspire young talent with his fiery guitar virtuosity. ***BASS GUITAR*** Ever since a television station in his hometown in Louisiana called him "the one to watch," Chuck Bell has been laying down the bottom line in a variety of styles and genres. He cobbled together his first bass guitar from spare pawn-shop parts, and in a very real sense, has been "recreating the bass" since then. From his hard-rock roots across Louisiana and Texas to his stellar recordings with the band Sugarburn in the 90's, Chuck proves time and time again that there's nothing safe about the bass. ***DRUMS*** Frank Foyt spent the early 90's playing throughout the mid-west and building a base at home in Houston with his Dead Boys/NY Dolls motivated band, Kings of Oblivion. Frank's other early endeavors include heavy locals, 9th Day Underground, and a stretch with local fave, Personality Crisis. Frank's various projects led him on stage before Suicidal Tendencies, Chainsaw Kittens, Tripping Daisies and more.
