Recently into strength-training and kickboxing, going to work on swimming. Aim to read the classics but usually opt for brain-candy (as long as it is well-written.) Love films in the theater but don't get to it much. Am passionate about American Indian / Alaska Native issues and self-determination.
By luck or fate I've managed to come across and even have experienced heart-to-heart connections with incredible people in most obvious arenas in life - musicians, authors, athletes, actors, politicians, activists / advocates, those in the military and so on.I'd hate to come off as a 'groupie' but when I admire people I can't help but wear it on my sleeve. You never know who is going to make an impact on your life - tremendous or miniscule - so I'm happy to cross paths with the most random of people. It's even cooler when that domino's into another good meeting, and then another good connection, and they tell a friend, who tells two friends, who tells three friends. . .

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip may go the way of Arrested Development (wah!) and my god Tina Fey is too damn brilliant with 30 Rock. Big fan of Kathy Griffen: My Life on the D List and Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch with Alaska's Bering Sea awesomely featured. Man v. Wild is gross but fascinating. Various home improvement shows and anything with Chef Ramsey. International CNN is better than the domestic and the BBC rocks.
I should read intelligent, inspiring non-fiction and historical stuff, but I have to read so much on current events that I end up grabbing fast-paced political and criminal intrigue novels - rooting for justice and the good guys. Love Stephen King, met him in D.C. along with Amy Tan - great night.
The ones who came before me, and the ones who will come after.
