About the Band
White Dove is reggae/R&B band with a mission. Normally bands want to play the most excellent music possible or rock harder than anyone else. White Dove is more socially conscious than most. Their goal is to spread messages of unity and love, and work together as a group without the clash of egos. Love, unity, and hope, are tricky but, can be accomplished. Being in a band without a clash of egos is almost impossible. Luckily, the group is made up of consummate professionals that have been performing for twenty years or more. White Dove's mastery of their instruments allows their grooves to be tighter with cleaner beats. They have that authentic Jamaican sound but, surprise, they're from Indiana.&nb sp; White Dove has worked hard for that sound over the years during their many live shows.
Album Release:
Band member Greg Hoskins says, "Every performance for me is a stepping stone to the next one- an oncoming, continuous flow that can give people a break from the ongoing trials and tribulations that we go thru from week to week." Their step by step approach has earned them many honors including opening for the legendary Gap Band. The next step is to release a CD. With already five songs recorded, the band is well on its way toward completing its mission of love and hope. White Dove is currently working with A&R Select, an independent A&R firm based in Hollywood, California. A&R Select is representing the artist's work for possible record deals; film, television and video game scores; and publishing deals.
