Hello. This is the short tale of us and the band we've slipped gently into. We have decided to name our band, Sometimes When I Mute My Television I Still Hear The Voices, we formed late 2005 in Copenhagen, Denmark. As good as we can, we make alternative rock music with guitars, drums, bass, boy/girl vox and a bit keys in one time. We like it noisy, bloody and gloomy.
In March 2006 we did our first recording session, the D-I-Y way. It turned out to be a 6-track demo EP, which was pronounced as 'Demo of the Month' with 5 out of 6 stars, in a Dansih music magazine called GAFFA, August 2006. In September, the EP was declared 'Demo of the Year' at Sweden's Musiklandet.se with 4 out of 5 'M's. Thank you. Find the links to the reviews (and more) on our website. Since all that, we have played a nice bunch of shows at the best club-venues in Copenhagen, at Skanderborg Festival, DK and one in Berlin. See 'Live dates' for future dates.
