My name is Thomas Patrick Briody. I like a lot of things. In particular like chicken. My favourite type of chicken is fried chicken or otherwise known as kentucky fried chicken. I have tried many chicken shops all across the capital, as well certain establishments in coventry and other parts of the country. Obviously for quality the best chicken establishment is KFC however i find many times to my disappointment that i have to acquire my chicken from other places. This is usually due to poor location and lack of funds.
What are your recommendations of these other chicken establshments i hear you ask? Well i was just coming to that. First a big shout out must go to the branch 'Sam's chicken and ribs'. This produces chicken to a great standard while keeping prices abnormally low. Branches of these can be found in wealdstone, willesdon, kentish town, kingsbury and wembley. The founder, wealdstone, must get a particular shout over the others as the chicken is usually to a better standard.
Another two great chicken shops are situated separately, one in belmont and one in harrow (next to trinity) These are great for differing reasons. Belmont is again stupidly cheap while also serving better chips than KFC (not hard) and its compatriot in harrow just simply produces high quality chicken.A final two points must be made. Firstly do not be put off by halal signs on chicken shops, these sometimes can be of a surprisingly good standard and at good prices. However beware of chicken shops next to each other. These tend to be scatty and dirty while also serving up what appears to be rat chicken, example wembley.
Finally and this is final, beware of california chicken on the kenton road. While on occasions it can be decent mostly it is below par. It fails me as to why i always consume from there and should only be purchased as a last resort.
