I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4I was born the last screaming child of five in New Iberia, Louisiana, half German, half Portuguese. My dad was in the oil business so we traveled a lot. I lived in Norway, Scotland, Australia, Texas and California. Growing up in so many different places was both good and bad. I loved meeting knew people and life never got boring however; just when I felt I had settled down we had to pick up and leave. My two favorite places were Scotland and California. In Scotland we lived in a huge house that was used as a medical building during World War I. Yes it came complete with beautiful green ivy crawling up the red brick walls and yes of course, ghosts. Scotland was were I kissed my first girl.. Ahh I love the Scots. In California we lived in another huge home with orchards and a guest home. That’s were I had my first motorcycle. Well to make a long story short. We moved to a Texas ranch and that’s where we stayed for the majority of my life. Yup horses, cows the whole bit. Early on I found an interest in singing. I would go around the halls in high school singing all the time. People told me I was pretty good at it so I started getting into singing groups and theater. After high school I went to McLennan Community College to study music. I was in all the best groups and this was my spring board to a very long life in music. My band ( the Phaze) moved to Austin, Texas where we were an instant success. We travel all over Texas playing music and getting paid, it was a dream come true. After a few thousand miles and couple bands, (the Picture, Dirty Oliver) I some how ended up getting married and moving to Alaska. I came up to Alaska with Dirty Oliver to play at the world famous Chilkoot Charlie’s. My wife and I loved it and we couldn’t leave. After a couple years living in Alaska we had an opportunity to move to Hawaii so we took it. Lived there for a year went fishing and bathed in the warm sun. Alaska called again so we pulled up the anchor and moved back. I started playing music again but things weren’t the same. So after a couple more bands, (Junk Box, Sucker Punch) I gave it up to become a medic which turned into my pursuit to be a nurse. I was in school, working at the Girdwood Volunteer Fire department and as a security guy for a few years. My last year of school and my wife drops the bomb. DIVORCE. Well you probably know how that crap is. I didn’t deal with it to well and my nursing degree is on hold. I retreated to my old ally, music. I will soon be a person weight trainer and have decided to go into nutrition in the future. There have only been a few constants in my life, my family, my martial arts, and the music. Right now my life’s in the air and I have so many options it will probably take some time to sort them all out. With all the ups and downs, this is the best life I have ever lived and I wouldn’t change anything, well maybe a couple things. I look forward to the future and I know it holds great treasures for me."What does it mean that hope is as hollow as fear? Hope and fear are both phantoms that arise from thinking of the self.
