Kay has recorded with Darius Brubeck, Perry Robinson and shared the stage with Pete Seeger at Clearwater and Sloop Club festivals. He is a popular performer at riverfront concerts, art galleries, coffee houses and private parties. He has collaborated with Hudson Valley artists on benefits sponsored by Rhythm & News Magazine. With publisher, George Fletcher, Kay co-wrote the title song "Everybody Needs Somebody" to benefit children with HIV, featuring over 100 artists including Larry Hoppen of Orleans, Curt Smith of Tears for Fears and the late Mindy Jostyn.
.... Kay's latest CD release, "Take My Hand" is a compilation of material recorded over the last decade, with CD cover art by Jessica Kay. He is currently working on his next project in his new home in North Carolina.

Performing and lending a hand in construction in New Orleans in February and July 2006, Kay has written a vibrational response to the devastation he has seen first hand caused by Katrina called "WaterLines" and has been performing this song as a fundraiser for Habitat/New Orleans at all his shows to remind everyone that the Crescent City still needs our efforts. The song will be included on the next project.
