About Me

In summer's warm embrace
a leaf still falls
heedless of its present
sightless to its end
My life's a show; I'm the deluded, yet loveable hero of the whole thing. I rate myself somewhere between badass and hardcore, sort of off the charts. Ya dig? It's an offbeat dramatic comedy epic, spliced with some intense action sequences. Some days I awake feeling surprisingly lucid.
I love zombies. I mean, I fucking love zombies. I don't, like, love zombies in the instinctive sense. I love the idea of crackin' some zombie domes. I believe zombies exist (in my idealogical fantasy realm) to unveil our capacity for ass whuppin'. When the zombies take over, you'll find me triumphantly lounging atop the Empire State Building with my posse of Zombie-ass-kickers munching on canned chili and experimenting with sensor activated turret mounted machine cannons. It's gonna be pretty great, I reckon.
I love sweatin'! I love the gym on a Saturday night!! Fuck all the inebriated socialites tossin' and dippin'. It's straight cutz up in here, m'lad.
I think days off are best invested in a relaxed, loungeabout early afternoon spent watching Humphrey Bogart films.
I think I'm more Muay Thai than Thai Bo.
I hope to someday be reborn as one of those ubercool types with the untucked pinstriped dress shirts and diesel jeans. Those guys are pretty much the pinnacle of cool. If anyone's reading this while drinking any sort of liquid refreshment, please raise it now in salute to these giants of keepin' it real. 8D
I am addicted to pursuing my passion of the moment, layin' down deep dark and heavy beats slathered in terriyaki sauce. I love to read, love to spin records, love to manipulate graphics, am ever learning more about feudel Japan and its philosophies, the decline of the warrior and the rise of industry, the human predilection for mirroring the presumption of what we believe we want to see in ourselves; the development of the entire world and the theory of which direction its all headed, and in my spare time I'm trying to inject my own flavor and ethical standards into life - something of an adventure itself, although truly I'd rather fit out a 30 gun clipper and pirate the seas. I'm not sure how I feel about carrot juice. Strawberry Sunrises are off the hook! Occasionally, when I run.. actually - always, when I run, my throat feels like it's going to collapse, perhaps crushing, in the process, a group of microscopic minors whom are in the process of an archeological dig within my esophagus or possibly one of my lungs; but who knows. I ain't really trippin' off their problems.
I'm pretty big on fitness and something of an uber-freak for eating right, although I do lapse from time to time (sob, weep: sinner!). I have limited patience for the faint of intelligence (sorry, boo hoo). Movies and literature are great methods of escape. For social immersion I prefer to jaunt out to any old spot with my friends. I'm a fiend for concerts, but I'm equally satisfied smashing people at a metal show or chilling back at a ballgame (personally, I prefer tennis). I'm renowned for running my mouth. I'd take this moment to forewarn, but why spoil all the surprises? I love unique individuals and the fierce of heart. I also love good people, warm hugs, and savage head butts. Whateva. Bleh.

To the Ladies:

My Interests

Knowledge is what it's all about. The more you know, the deeper your connection. I'm lost somewhere between the limitless dreams of worlds like Robert Jordan's and the inner complexities brought to light by Ayn Rand. As the closest ideal of a perfect balance, I'll stick with Robin Hobb, my personal favorite author. As enjoyable as everything is, the assimilation of the experiences of others and my own discoveries in life never seem enough to fulfill. Where else do we go?
I'm fascinated by culture, both in its artistic incarnations and the more innate aspects of socialization and definition of spirit. Endless facets of the mind to ponder for a lifetime, and too much amazing music and artistic creation all around distracting me from focused thoughts.
My mottos... Don't make my job harder, never place faith above reason, and live for yourself. They're not always as easy to live by as they are to preach, but damned if I don't try.
Hm... I'll write more later.

I'd like to meet:

I want a girl whom'll treat me bad and do wild stuff to my hair! Also... People who enjoy screaming at the walls of society, and.... I told you! PIZZA THE HUT! Baring sushi! That would simply own (whatever that's meant to imply). Unless his grease got all up in my hamachi. Man, I'd whoop that fool's ass!

Music:

I love music. I effin' LOVE it!!! I listen to it in the car, I listen at work, I listen when I'm supposedly listening to something more important. If I can't listen to anything, I'll hum myself a freakin' tune! RIP to the Pound. WTF, anyway? I'm a fanatic for all my obsessions listed here...

Currently.. I'm reading Solder Son by Robin Hobb. Extreme savagery. I'll not give too much of the plot away, but... it contains both descriptions of things and the use of pronouns. I trust you only thirst for more.

Heroes:

Miyamoto Musashi and Hank Rearden. Savages!
