I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I was born in Los Angeles, but spent the truly formative years of my life (88 to 98) in Chicago. Yes, I used to be a punk but I'm all jazz at heart. Vacillating between the Green Mill and Exit, I could never, ever pick a side. I don't mind the snow once in a while, but everyday cold is a thing of the past for me. Give me a hot beach and a cold drink anyday. Now I live in the Turks & Caicos Islands, British West Indies in a hut on a hill.I used to want to be a marine biologist, started college as an art history major, then I thought that I might like to be a chef. Now I have my MBA and making handmade jewelry, currently inspired by the tropical island where I live.Yes, I do have some cold weather in my Inuit blood, but that's all in the past. My people, my people:Eskimos Attack U.S.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

What wouldn't I give to have been at this dinner? I would have definitely given a middle toe (I need the big ones and the pinkies to balance my yoga poses).I love to meet artists, musicians, writers, chefs, anyone intelligent and articulate in a creative profession and anyone that is doing something that they absolutely love. I'd like to meet the contemporary glass artists William Morris and Janis Miltenberger. They're my favorite artists.

St. Louis under Ice...

I finally arrived in St. Louis and it was apparent why the delays were so severe. This city is coated in ice. Cold, beautiful ice.
