About Me

I have recently moved back to NJ with my parents after living in New York City for a year while pursueing and finally graduating with my masters in Art Education from the School of Visual Arts. I will probably go back to school again in the future, but for now I am just extremely happy to be finished with my thesis. :) I hope to be an AWESOME art teacher, but until I am ready to find the perfect art eduction position for me I plan to work for my dad and possibly volunteer over seas, something that I have wanted to do for years. I really want to travel to Peru, India, Crete, Australia, and Ghana before I am 40. I have an awesome bearded dragon and an evil, but still very precious and beautiful solid black Kittie. I have been a vegetarian for six years and recently decided to become a vegan. It has been over five months and so far I feel great and lost alot of what I refer to as "Ben weight". I am an exhibiting artist, an aunt to two very special girls and usually a happy person. I love not wearing shoes, the colors red, green and brown, random hugs, black mascara, dancing when it rains, tea with honey in my red love mug, San Fransisco, Memphis, Nepal (which I will visit one day), Harry Potter, zombie movies because they scare the crap out of me, and New Years Eve because it is the BEST day of the year!

My Interests

Anything related to Art and Art history. I collect postcards from museums of weird child portriats. I create mostly mix media drawings with tea, watercolor, graphite and paper. I love listening to music, visiting the theatre and watching all sorts of random movies with my friends. I enjoy traveling across and outside the country. I have so far visited 44 states and three countries. I love Animals! I have have a cat and a lizard (Emily and Escher), I enjoy reading, I love New Jersey and all of its weirdness, Vegetarianism, Vegetarian activism, Wiccan and Budhist ideas, the Mountians, yoga, Tea, Mother Nature, dancing, family, friends, Smiles, and good karma.

Most of my cd collection consists of indie rock, singer song writers and female vocalists, but I love a variety of music and can listen to almost anything played.
