About Me

From the depths of boredeom and obscurity, tunneling up through the underground, sneaking under the radar of mainstream media that has largely abandoned local talent, comes a lone crusader: a musically-obsessed geek with a laptop and a microphone ...
The Indianapolis In-Tune Podcast is a local music showcase run by an obsessive-compuslive music geek who was struck with the crazy vision one day that he had the technical prowess, time, and strength of will to meet, drink with, and interview every musician in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. While there are many great podcasts out there -- most doing a parody of morning-zoo radio and playing music off PMN or another podsafe source -- Indy In-Tune's philosophy is to scour the bars, clubs, and garages of Indianapolis, to sit down and talk, conversationally to artists about their music, and to make the listener feel like they've actually met and hung out with the band -- thus increasing their desire to come out and see them perform, help them become successful, and in general revitalize an interest in the Indianapolis music scene, which is -- let's face it -- underrated, underappreciated, and undersupported.
(A fantastic Sally Struthers immitation starts here...)
So please, think of the artists ... go to indyintune.com , iTunes, Podcast Pickle, Podcast Alley, Podshow, or anywhere great podcasts are found ... subscribe to Indy In-Tune ... and without spending a dime -- that's seventy-five cents less than the price of a .75-cent cup of coffee -- you can make all the difference in the life of a poor, lonely musician.
Now available as a free download on iTunes!
If you are an Indianapolis-based group, singer/songwriter, performer, or a regional act that is coming to the Indianapolis area; have at least three original songs you'd like to share with the public at large; and would like to promote yourselves, your pending CD release, or an upcoming gig -- send us your information so we can get you on the show!
