After living in L.A. for over six years, I have returned to my beloved home in El Paso. I went to Los Angeles to pursue my childhood dream: making movies. But as those six years quietly crept by, I realized that my dream wasn't worth any further sacrifices. As Professor Dumbedore said to Harry Potter, "it does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live..."
I keep my FAITH in God, in my family, in my girlfriend, and in myself as I turn the page to a new chapter. I am now a Video Production Teacher at Riverside High School, and so far, it has been a very challenging experience, but I'm sure I'll be okay.
But, I still love the movies, and I'll always, ALWAYS will. I enjoy reading. And I LOVE creating stories. Writing is my hobby, my PASSION, my challenge.
Another passion of mine is the L.A. Lakers! Blame it on my dad. Ever since I watched the original Purple and Gold Lake Show of the 80's, I've become, am, and always will be a die hard fan! And because I'm a born and raised Texan, I'm also a Dallas Cowboys fan!
I love my family. I love my girlfriend, Anel. And, I am proud of my relationship with GOD. I depend on Him and talk to Him on a daily basis... even though there are times when that faith is tested (I think that's what FAITH is all about). Overall, I do my best to live the life I've been given.
Oh yeah, one last thing... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Lost, my favorite TV show of all time (I invite you to check out my blog about Lost @ http://chuck-blogs-about.blogspot.com/).
I'd like to meet:
Writers, Directors, Actors, Editors, Producers, Illustrators, Music Artists, or anyone who works diligently and passionately for their goals and dreams... whatever they may be.
