Ping Pong (Table)
Well ye n all that bollocks n shit. ive been playing music scince the age of seven, when i robbed my uncles casio keyboard. he used to pretend to be actually playing the demo, but his fat fingers covered more than one key, where there was only one particular note bieng played. silly shite. so started playing songs that i heard on the radio etc, and then i began writing my own songs bout three years later. they were shit.then i moved onto playing the guitar, and felt alot more able to express myself. i was in a school band that was pop rock, but still pretty credable today ( about the level of feeder at the present moment)next i met a group of wah ghwans to form another band called johnny mantle. we didnt have a drummer so i quickly adapted the challenge of rythum. we had pretty origional ideas and created a pretty orogional sound, like mixing drum n bass sections with lord of the rings n bluesy chorouses ( in 1 song) that went well but we got heavey on the weed n got too emotionally involved with petty shite. then i left that, n jus played on my own for the next year or so... playing for at least five hours a day.that leaves it to the present day, where i am currently collaborating with different takes of indie rock stuffit just seems that people get cought up in an image they see in music, and want to replicate that form of what they think they are, through their social status and ego barriers. we never tend to see a potential bigger picture... every genre of music holds a certail quality that is shown in our minds, yet we are scared to let these things out for fear of rejection... that it may damage our persona.every group of notes holds a mirror image into our own emotions, and people get caught up in certain groups of chords ( that is depicted through genres) because it is the exact forms of emotion that they feel comfortable in dealing with people they wish to be associated withThe only thing that truthfully makes a genre as it is, would be the rythmic sections. ( the certain ways we time these emotions of ours) if the rythum is changed it usually changes the genre. so there. ( i dont know where im going with all this shite... but ill probably make it sound better when i can be arsed or some shite like that...
