Sounds Like:

"[Invaders is] a great solid smash through festival territory that's captured the sound of a real band on record. There's plenty of rawness where it's needed and the vocal harmonies step in at the right moments to enhance the record. The chorus notches things up in terms of pace and volume and drops away to reveal the sequenced keyboard tones, which race alongside the drums.
'Feeding on the Birdseed' starts with a fat bass line and the vocal kicks in with more force than in the first track. It's a more aggressive song overall, but doesn't emigrate from the sound further than by adding some guts to the formula ...this record is a great listen."

Nine Ashes really give a masterclass in solid indie rock. They are a well rehearsed and fine act and the crowd always appreciate their live set which is simply class. Big tunes, dynamics, excellent vocals that connect. Put these on as support to a good band at Wembley stadium and they's steal the show...this is solid group and we'd not be surprised and would also be elated if something special happened to these..

Two track demo, Rainbow and Black Sunday
Dance music that rocks. An understanding that the guitar can be an instrument of dance....wonderful first track Rainbow doesn't need a second listen to bite you. A superb mix of techno for sweating bodies driven around the dancefloor by funky riffs. Its 3.57 long but you would still be dancing after 10 minutes. Its heading for my Zen.
The vocals that were so incidental in the first track seem somehow more exposed in Black Sunday. After grinding with the girls on Rainbow only the best dancer in the world could get it on with this song which presumably was included to show the options that NineAshes have at their fingertips but leaves me wondering if Rainbow was just a glorious one-off..now should I check their Myspace..??????

Nine Ashes are another superb band who always play a great set. it was good to have these on tonight as they are one of the best bands that havent been signed. They look good, play with serious dynamics and have the x factor (not in a pop kind of way). Play again please.. ..
