Rock 'til you Drop - Laugh 'til you Puke!

About Me

LAUGHstock's MISSION STATEMENT:

We are an independant show booking, band booking, tour booking, band promoting, show promoting MACHINE. First and foremost, DIY (do it yourself) ethics are applied with a dash of realism and a pinch of nihilism.

We hate the radio.
We hate the television.
We refuse the mainstream commercialism that has lead so many to believe that greed is the only answer.
Fuck that. Fuck them.
As it says in Michael Azerrad's book "Our Band Could Be Your Life: Scenes from the American Indie Underground 1981-1991":

"... if you didn't like "the system", you should simply create your own"

And that's exactly what I plan to do. By creating my own form of entertainment in the way of live shows (both music and comedy), by creating my own unbias non-commercial heavy fanzine called "CXC" which started in March 2007 and by continuing my undying support for others who follow the same ethics and virtues as my own. People such as Culture Rising, the name says it all - these guys are here for you, please check out the alternative:
