Well, life loves to kick us while we're down. Fortunately, God loves to take those circumstances and use them to build us up. I was there this summer, at the building stage. My life was and still is in many ways a puddle of confusion and uncertainty, yet I have this peace about it all. I have to be reminded constantly, but I know that God is in control. I can't escape my need for faith. If it makes me weak by some peoples' standards, then so be it. I know that the crap in life will pass, and I will see how God used it to break me. Indeed, I already see it to an extent. Time for God to dust the cobwebs from my soul and wake me from my drunken stupor brought on by mediocrity and idleness. It's time for me to die and for my loving Father to take over. If you're looking for someone to hang with or something, let me know. Wednesday at 6:30am we do a Bible study thing, so get in touch if you're interested.
