I am here for Friends

About Me

Recently returned from a mad adventure in Central and South America, trying now to think of more ways to put off the real world!

My next trip is going to be to Antarctica - whoop whoop! Am really excited can't wait to go and make friends with some penguins and live on an iceberg and go scuba diving under the ice and climb some glaciers and and .... loads more exciting stuff!

I like to get out there and DO things, always having mini adventures, trying out things that are new or a bit scary, discovering what the world has to offer - whether it be across the other side of the world in some native amazonian tribe's village or a random encounter in a Birmingham nightclub - there's loads out there and most of it's good!
I LOVE house, dance and breaks - clubbing is where I can be found every weekend having a good boogie with a big silly grin on my face surrounded by my amazing clubbing mates.

My Interests

During the week I like being a geek and learning stuff, weekends are for dancing to amazing music with my great group of friends and getting well n truly wrecked. Can't wish for much more than that.

I'd like to meet:

More people like this please:

Music:

Freestylers, Stanton Warriors, DJ Yoda, Trip hop, breakbeats, hard house, dub, funky house, electro, soundtracks to good films, anything funky, but will dance to pretty much anything when drunk.

Movies:

Kill Bill, Clockwork Orange, Finding Nemo, Scarface, Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, Rocky Horror, Monty Python Holy Grail, Kung Fu Hustle

Television:

Most of what's on Channel 4 with a dash of BBC 2 Learning Zone.

Books:

Not the world's greatest reader (can't concentrate!) but am trying to read some books inspired by my travelling like 100 years of solitude, the motor cycyle diaries etc.

Heroes:

The Japanese guy I met in Panama who'd CYCLED (on a push bike not a motorbike) from Alaska to Colombia, and was on his way back again. How amazing's that?! And Mr Scruff for drawing such great cartoons.

England Top 5

I love England.  These are my favourite things that make me grin since coming back from Latin America: Marmite.  Is England the only nation to appreciate the culinary genius of malted yeast ...
