BUST

About Me

B. Howell : Guitars, Vocals.Based in Shreveport, LA, by way of Brooklyn, NY, B. began penning songs way back when ink and paper still ruled the day. B.'s vividly cryptic lyrical qualities evoke comparisons with Syd Barrett, Black Francis & Jeff Mangum. An accomplished guitarist, his songs first made their way into the New York rock scene with the late 90's punk trio, Finless Brown.
In 2001, B. struck out in a new direction, forming BUST. Micro-Indie-Label Grey Matter released BUST's debut CD "belle of brawl" in 2003, then followed up with the sophomore effort "Animal Games" in 2006.
Formed in 2006, The Fur Trade, B. Howell's newest group, has a debut record scheduled for release in 2009, with live dates to follow.
