Update 12/10/08
My step-daughter got me back on here. She introduced me to these apps and next thing I'm a total addict to Vampires, Pirates, and Dragon Wars. Figure if I'm going to be on here so much I should update my info.Work is still the major focus of my life. I'm so lucky in this lousy economy to be part of a company that is growing and succeeding. There's 7 of us now in the Technology group but we all have to work hard to keep everything running smoothly.
Away from the office I'm a home-body. Everything I love is there. I've got the most amazing boyfriend. He's truly my best friend and we love to chill together. We have quite a zoo of fuzzies going too! First came my kitty, Sweetpea aka Pot, who rules the roost. Next came a super fluffy Pomeranian, Scully aka Schnark, who's my first dog. Don't tell her she's a dog. She'll never believe you. LOL My BF has a pair of ferrrets and then there's my pride and joy: 2 CHINCHILLAS! Dobby and Cedric have been so much more than pets. They're practically my main hobby. I'll have to post pics soon. They are cute beyond belief!!
Update 05/20/08
My hard work continues to pay off. The site I work on gets over 5.6 million hits per month! It's hard to believe it's built and maintained by basically only 3 people. Of course the 3 of us are just worked to death! That's why I haven't been on in so long. The best part of my life, though, remains my boyfriend. We're quickly coming up on 4 years together and I still love him more every day!An Early Xmas 12/20/06
My sweetie gave me an early Christmas gift I just can't help but show off. For our first 2 Xmases I asked for jewelry and he gave me beautiful pieces. This year I tried to be more practical and asked for a TV for my bedroom (which I got too!). This past weekend he surprised me with a jewelry gift I wasn't expecting. It's called the Evenstar pendant that Arwen (Liv Tyler) wears in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. We both love the movies and I've commented in the past on how much I like it. Who knew he was paying attention?? *grin* It's special too because it's a symbol of the love between Arwen and Aragorn. I love Mark so much for surprising me with such a great gift!!Update 12/10/06
All of my hard work (and of course that of the rest of the tech team) is starting to pay off! According to an independent 3rd party, we are the 209th most visited site on the whole Net! In October and November both we exceeded 4 millions unique visitors. Now if I can just see that success reflected as a raise next March I'll be really happy.When I was a very young child, my most favorite story was a short one about Dumpling the Cuddly Hedgehog.
