Okay, it's time for a ravamp! I'm happily married to my sweet Matty. We live in Northfield...still. I swore I'd leave and I've turned out to be the biggest townie EVER. We had a daughter of Feb. 24th of 2007. Eva Madelyn. She's my Peanut. I feel gipped in the whole resemblance dept., she looks just like her dad. She's a little firecracker, as is her father, so I think she's like him there, too. I currently stay at home with her, which is
awesome, as I don't trust many people to take care of her, and the idea of working and daycare seems both unsettling as well as pointless since the cost eats up the wage. Anyway, we just celebrated our four year anniversary in July, and for any of you that attended the wedding, I'm happy to say that this year was not nearly as hot as that! I'm still chasing the "artist" dream in the dark recesses of my mind, but I'm currently not in a position to put a lot of thought into the logistics of that dream. I'll get there.Matt graduated from McNally Smith College of Music in 2005, and realized his career aspirations and started his own live sound and production company!! XFPro Unltd. He's currently at Harmony Park in Geneva, doing sound and such for Harvest Fest. He also ran production for Project Earth; a benefit for children in Nepal, also at Harmony Park. Last month he was at Log Jam at Mille Lacs. He's doing well and working his little a** off to provide for the fam and start a business. I got myself a good one, people!! He's a great husband (even if I haven't gotten a birthday present in five years ;) ) and an even better father.
So life is good, if not a bit stressful, and completely different than it was a little over a year ago (life really does change when you have a kid...and they do "grow up so fast"...and all those other old adages). I'm excited to see where it takes our little, crazy clan in the next few years!
