One of Gametight Incorporated’s very own, Lucky the Lootgetta was born and raised on the streets of southeast San Diego. Freestylin’ lyrics while runnin the streets was something that came naturally to this West Coast influenced Filipino. Having numerous run-ins with the law, he decided to turn his talent and love for music into his new hustle. He started by performing at various high schools around San Diego at first but as his skills began to improve, he became more popular in the local rap scene, thus performing numerous times at the Coors Ampitheatre and San Diego’s local night clubs. His resume includes working with accomplished artists such as Suga Free, Mitchy Slick, Ecay Uno, Shuga Shaft, Riccy Boy and Kansas City’s Boy Big from Gangstarr fame. Early in the game, Lucky began to realize that not many Asians, Filipinos in particular, were involved in the rap game. This motivated him to create his debut album and prove that it could be done.
