About Me

Over the past 3 years David has co-written 12 songs on three number 1 albums in Europe. He also co-wrote 'The Ghost of You,' which was nominated for the 2004 Eurosong contest. Another of David's co-writing compositions, 'We Gotta Hold On,' was released as the summer single for D.J. Bobo in June of 2007.David was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but now lives in Zurich where he spends most of his time writing songs for various artists throughout Europe and America. Though most of his cuts have been in the pop vein, David also writes country, rock and main stream pop songs.Music runs deep in the Holler family. David's father and co-writer, Dick Holler, wrote Abraham, Martin and John, which has sold over 30 million copies and has just collected a BMI award for over 4 million airplays. Brother 'Reno Holler,' also a co-writer with David, has been generating heat in Nashville with many writers, producers and publishers.David, Reno and Dick Holler also co-wrote 10 tracks for Universal Music recording artist 'Kandlbauer' (see my top 8). Kandlbauer's last album, which Dick and David had 7 cuts on, went all the way to number 1 of the album charts in the summer of 2005In 2006 David co-wrote all the tracks on the new 'Burrell' CD 'Hello, Hello, Hello' (also see my top 8). Presently, David is working with several writers and producers in Europe while continuing to co-write with his Dad and brother Reno for their Nashville projects. The songs featured here on the 'Myspace' page are all co-written and sung by David.
