Biography The Young Hustla is a 18 year-old rapper/producer/DJ/entrepreneur from the southside of Chicago. Although he is young, he has a business mentality and musical talent beyond his years. Growing up in an environment surrounded by violence and gangs, but through the grace of God he found his refuge in music.
The Young Hustla is not only a producer, he is multi-talented. Rapping, engineering, graphic/web designer, the list goes on. The Young Hustla is no ordinary teenager.
Born into a music based family in the former murder capital; Gary, Indiana, with his father being a professional singer always on tour and his mother a club DJ. He then moved to Columbus, Ohio. After 7 years in Indiana, were he became in touch with music around he age of 8. He began making beats in his spare time. He relocated again, this time to a SouthSide city of Chicago, Illinois. He really became serious about music, from writing lyrics, producing his own songs, and really making alot of beats. He began by making mixes from hit songs. He has been featured on his father's album "Micheal Curtis-Giving You Everything", by writing, producing the beat and recording lyrics on the song "Abide In You" from his fathers 3rd album. He decided to make mixes of hits with his beats. He started out by creating two of his own mixtapes, "Blood Money" being first and "7 Figurez" released on 7/7/07 his 17th birthday. Since then he has focused more on his graphic design artwork and making beats for other artists. As of July 2008, Multi-platinum artist Chingy reached out to The Young Hustla to sign him as a producer for the label. Toward the ending of 2008, he shared the stage with Chingy & Ludacris. He's helped out with Chingy's Worldstarhiphop.com mixtape hosted by DJ Woogie. He's currently working on a mixtape with Warner Bros. newcomer "Jay Rock"; better known for his single "All My Life" featuring Lil' Wayne. Only Lord knows where things will go from here on!
