About Me

» Firebyrdz «

hizMajesty started listening to hip-hop at the age of 12. It was just a common thing in Berlin, especially if you are a minority and grow up in one of the hoods - same thing with Hiz. His friend (now production partner hollahday of Firebyrdz) got him hooked on Capone n Noreaga (War Report), Outkast (ATLiens) and Stieber Twins (Fenster zum Hof) the rest is history!

The passion developed even more once he tasted it, so he started DJing when he was 15. At the age of 16-17 he tried doing beats. He started enjoying it, so he began doing it on a daily basis on his PC using Reason 1. Even nowadays he uses the same principles to make a beat, of course the programs and pro-tools have upgraded. Through the time he thought himself how to use a MIDI keyboard, but most of his beats are made using a sample and laying drums over it. He basically robbed all of the German legends, using their music to develop NYC beats with a European flavour. Listening to his beats, you can definitively hear that the Diplomats have been a big influence to him. Besides them, he states earlier influences such as Afterlife/Project Blowed, D.I.T.C, Capone n Noreaga, Timbaland and UK Grime as the major influences.

hizMajesty started producing for local act, such as AerforcesOne, VRS and Sentino. He did 5 tracks on two Sentino mixtapes, who has created a huge buzz in Germany. Some people consider him as the best MC in Germany because of the lyrical talent.
