About Me

My wife and I are foster and adoptive parents. This is something she had wanted to do from a very young age. We have been doing this since mid 2000, and have many kids through our home. Our purpose in this is to give these kids a safe loving home for as long as they need it. And as far as I am concerned they are all a part of the family even after they leave.
We have several kids who still come to visit, or call since they have left, either back to their parents or on to a new home. When I see them, or hear from them after they have left our home, that is what makes me the happiest. I love knowing that these kids want to keep us a part of their lives after they have left.

Today we have 8 kids in our home,
and 54 that are a part of our
ever-growing family.

I am ashamed to say I like more "reality shows" than I should. They outght to call them new generation game shows, because there is no reality to it. I am absolutely addicted to The Amazing Race, I also like to watch Big Brother and American Idol

Due to some choices made by adults, a child was placed into foster care. Once she arrived at the foster home she asked if the foster mom would be getting a paycheck on Wednesday (it was Sunday)....
