In the meantime i'm studying communication and multimedia at university of Lettere e Filosofia in Firenze.DJ Education:After being member of several alt rock bands in his hometown, during the late ninties he discovered electronica thanks to warp and rephlex productions by artists as Aphex Twin and Autechre. Many years passed and the music changed, as a napster era son, he got by downloading into new forms of electronica more dancefloor orientated but still experimental: with a big passion for techno dub german sound ( brinkmann, vladislav delay, force inc) and first clickhouse, he started djin in 2001. Two years after he moved to London, essential step for his musical education: he got in touch with the minimal East London scene, living and sharing his passion for music with friends as Ekkohaus, Argy, Doudou Malicious, Sebastian Russell, Italoboyz, also spinning regularly records for nights as Multivitamins and Mark Ashken's Lather Rinse Repeat. Back in Florence he started the collaboration with Fabio della Torre (Minimono), giving life to the electronic night project "Random" with international guest as Bruno Pronsato and Telegraph boss Alex Petit. In the same year he got the chance to be finalist for Elettrowave challenge, and after few months he gave life with the artistic direction by Monochrome to the very successfull night 4/4 @ExEx, being dj resident during the whole season, playing alongside international techno and house talents such as Dinky, Samim, Shinedoe, Cassy, Portable, Jesse Rose, Argy, Serafin, Gummihz, Jamie Jones and Massi DL. Rufus sets can be moody, unpredictable, as an hi speed selection of tunes, a mixture of dark funk blended grooves that take care of the dancefloor with an eye on the experimentation, a raw and nervous style that takes inspiration from the past the present and the future of house techno e dubstep music..
