In 1999 Andy Maziarz (guitar) began the creation of our rock band by having two very important phone conversations with
Paul Ablon (bass vocal) and Tom Unrat (drums). After 6 months of practicing, we recorded our first album called "Drzewo". During practice sessions, a 'shot' of even more energy to the band was added in the person of Daniel "Dyzio" Palka,
whom we welcomed with opened arms to join our band and with whom
we shared our plans for the future.And with this line-up we played a lot of concerts in the NY-NJ-CT area.
We played together while honing our skills and in 2004 we finished the second album titled "Fast Forward Reality". As a result we were able to afford necessary studio and recording gear such as instruments, hammers, drillsand who knows what else! Andy Maziarz became our sound engineerbecause he had no other choicewell, we had no other choice either?? We can still recall our all night studies of "music-technical literature" which drastically affected our health!!! Working in a recording studio can be very exhausting and the rock music needs full attention..
In 2004 we were invited to be a part of the biggest heavy metal event in the
east coast called the Metal Meltdown where we had a chance to play next to
some of the greatest metal bands like "Testament", "Forest of Impaled,
M.O.D", "Obituary" wish you all could have seen it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Year 2004 was very luck for us.Thanks to our friend Marcin Filipowski "Bubell",
who is a radio DJ we came up with an idea to submit our band to be considered as one of the bands taking part in - currently the biggest - live rock festival in Europe "Stage Woodstock". Bubell sent in our CD.and we were one of those who were chosen to play at that concert!!! We felt really important..from about 900 submissions from all around the world, the jury picked only 24, among which was our CD. THANKS A LOT BUBELL!!!! Unfortunately, Andy Maziarz was not able to join us on our trip to this huge gig due to some health problems, so at Stage Woodstock we showed up in a somewhat thinned-out line up, yet we showed what Raggedy is all about on such a huge stage and we played like there was no tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!! You can see all this on a DVD of that event which is available for purchase on our website. It was an unbelievable feeling and we got kind of weak-kneed when we suddenly saw a sea of 250.000 people stretch out right in front of us !!!!!!!! Huge stage, huge lights, huge crowds...this is something we'll never forget until we'll die You can see this unbelievable happening for yourself on our DVD!!!
After our return to NJ, Dyzio had to leave our band in order to devote his time to his family and we concentrated back on our music, working on new gigs and songsthey'll be "easy and beautiful", we said... it is after all our specialty!!! We'll add to this a pound of hot paprikawe'll put everything in heavy mill which turns at a speed of an F16 fighter, and we'll soon begin recording our third album, with which our new guitar player Ziggy Cwalina will help us.

You can now purchase from our online store a copy of a DVD recorded in Kostrzyn, POLAND during the summer of 2004. Raggedy has been chosen to be one of the 24 bands to play on this concert. There were about 250,000 heads during that 2 day concert. All of the 24 bands were chosen from a list of over 900 that wanted
to be on that stage. The DVD is only $12.
Great news for all of our fans. The long awaited "Fast Forward Reality" CD has been released. This is truly a work of art. Some very heavy and energy driven adrenaline filled core.
