You know those people whose career defines them, I am one of them. Okay, maybe not defines, but it is a huge part of who I am. I have been working on archaeological sites since I was 17. Presently I am studying to be a nautical archaeologist. I like studying those crazy boats, and I especially like the scuba diving (no laughing- I know I don't like to swim). I spent last summer diving on a Roman column wreck off the coast of Turkey. Grad school is an crazy world though. I also find living in TX a twisted cultural experience, too. I survive it all because of Ryan (my fiancee- also studying in a TX school) and my friends (here in College Station and those who are supporting me from a far). My family also keeps me sane, even though they are all on the insane East Coast. That is me-love my career, love my friends and family, love my life (though I may sing a different tune during finals week.)
