I am a bowler and have been bowling my entire life. I married a bowler, husband Harold carries over a 220 average for several years. My children are bowlers. Alyssa is 19, bowled for high school and is currently bowling in many sport shot tournaments. Michele is 11 and bowls in Saturday league. It is a HUGE part of our life.
I have one 800 series (818), six 300 games, five 299 games (all 10-pin), and a ton of 11-in-a-row (front and back). I started when I was four and before the invention of bumbers (yes, I am old). I bowled junior leagues on Saturday mornings, on my high school team, and college. I am currently bowling in four leagues. In 2001, I was inducted into the Greater Miami Bowling Council Hall of Fame for Ability. I am also a league secretary/treasurer for three leagues with 13, 14, and 23 teams each.
