When Katrina blew me. There's nothing like a hurricane!

About Me

I've never been able to stay stationary. I've always been on the move. I'm looking for home and I think I've found it. I know its an abstract term, but a person knows where he or she belongs. If we find that place, we can be happy. If we settle, we may only reach complacency. I think the trick is looking until we're sure. I've lived all over the country, and am now certain where I belong...and the moves are gettin old:-)

My Interests

You name it, I'll try it. There are boundaries, but not many. I love working out...best stress release ever. I enjoy spending time with groups of fun people, however, there's nothing more rare than forgetting the rest of the world exists because you're with the one who matters most. I dont use the word friend a lot and don't get to hang with those people often enough. I love motorcycling and movies. Downtown is fun but I enjoy the afterbars quite a bit more...more personal.

I'd like to meet:

Someone who can see the me that takes care of everyone else before myself and wants to take care of me. Someone who is laid back and still has enough spirit to be passionate. I know it sounds a little like a fairy tale, but who knows...stranger things have happened. To be able to share a soul so deeply that you can almost breath them in. When the two are apart, there is almost trouble finding air. The thought of the other helps you breath again. I can live for myslef, but to live for someone else is a gift I hope to find. It's the great white whale most hearts hope to find. Mine is no different.

Music:

Megadeath to The Fray. Tim McGraw to Saliva. Switchfoot to Nickleback. Right now I'm really into Breaking Benjamins and crossfade (helps in the gym). Basically, if it's good, I like it. Into techno a little. The only rap I have ever really liked is 2Pac...so much for that huh?.

Movies:

Last of the Mohecians; Finding Nemo; Something About Mary; Armageddon and yup....I liked Titanic. I have to see Borat (any reviews would be welcome). I also love the next movie I watch with someone I really care about. If it sucks, I'm only gonna like it once...unless I'm asked to watch again with that person. Sometimes the company is more important than the entertainment.

Television:

Simpsons, South Park and Family Guy. Im kinda into Harvey Birdman...but nobody seems to know who that is. T.V. isn't for reality. That's what reality is for.

Books:

Not a big book person. Think and Grow Rich is probably my favorite right up there with any George Carlin book.

Heroes:

A kid sitting in a cancer center getting chemo; anyone who takes care of special needs people; single mothers who are rasing thier kids to be the next leaders and not loafers of the world and anyone else who thinks of others before themselves...it's a divine trait.

Know thyself...it kinda helps those closest to us.

When it comes to life, actions do sometimes speak louder than words. One thing to remember is what keeps us connected is what's felt inside, not what's done outside. Letting the other know can be the...

A little more insight into the male mind:   Maybe I'm giving away some of our secrets in the hope that just maybe, someone will read and save themselves from some things I've been through. ...

Mistakes were made...

A trick I learned from screwing up so many times.  One person is rarely to blame.  Think about the times one person who might be trying to get out or is confused, trys to distance them...
